This hands-on course is suitable for users who need to gain a good working knowledge of Outlook. Delegates will master the core skills required to send and read messages, manage their Contacts, work with Tasks and use the Calendar effectively.


Target Audience/Pre-Requisites

Target Audience

New or inexperienced users of Outlook, those upgrading from a previous version of Outlook or migration from another e-mailing package.

Pre-requisites

To fully benefit from this course, attendees are expected to be familiar with Windows and use of the mouse. Knowledge of a previous e-mail package would be useful, although not essential.


Course Objectives

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Start Microsoft Outlook, navigate around the various features
• Create and send e-mail messages
• Receive e-mails into your Inbox
• Work with the calendar feature
• Schedule appointments and events in your calendar
• Add, edit and delete contacts and contact details
• Create a to do list using the Task feature
• Access and use the help system
