We have been training since 1991, providing our clients with practical, innovative training and consultancy solutions.  Our clients include leading City firms, national and multi-national corporations as well as government and regulatory bodies within the public and non-profit making sectors.

Commitment to Quality
Our superior level of quality is maintained by adhering to the Institute of IT Training's (IITT) Code of Practice and through a policy of placing TAP accredited trainers wherever possible on training projects.  We first gained the IITT’s Standard member status in February 2000 and in 2002 was awarded Gold Standard.

Consultative & Flexible Approach
Laidlaw & Constable adopt a consultative and flexible approach when establishing and delivering a training programme. Tailored solutions are arrived at through iterative discussion.  Our recommendations take into account the environment in which you operate, your business objectives, an analysis of your training needs and, equally important, an evaluation of the most suitable training method for the requirement in question. While tailored training has long been our hallmark, the last few years has seen a response to client demand by extending the scope of our service provision to encompass a public schedule of pragmatic training interventions.


Professional and Conscientious Staff

Our clients have come to expect a personal service and dealing with highly motivated people who have a stake in the future of our relationship.

Trainers
All our trainers are taught to a high standard in the skills necessary to conduct, deliver and develop training courses and programmes.  As an absolute minimum they will have two years industry experience as well as some form of ‘tertiary level’ qualification, which is IT, personal development and/or teaching related.  We employ a mix of in-house trainers and external associates which provides the ability to assign an appropriately experienced training consultant against each and every requirement.

Manageable Class Sizes
We have always encouraged our clients to focus on the quality of training and therefore advocate smaller class sizes, which we believe optimises delegates' learning experience.  Interventions can range from full one/two day sessions to multiple modular style i-Bites that can be delivered on a one-to-one or group basis throughout a day.  Ideal class sizes would normally be between six to eight attendees.

Location
Laidlaw & Constable’s Central London training facilities are situated in the very heart of London’s West End, with Regent Street and Oxford Street shopping districts right on our doorstep. The training centre is easily accessible by public transport - Oxford Circus tube station (Bakerloo, Victoria & Central Lines), Bond Street tube station (Jubilee and Circle Lines) and Regent’s Park tube station (Bakerloo Line) are all within five minutes walk. The nearest British Rail stations are Euston, Kings Cross, Marylebone and St Pancras and all are either two to three tube stops or a ten minute taxi journey away.
